The Sleeping Deaths is a horror-themed solo journalling game where you explore the narrative by drawing playing cards and expanding on the prompts they provide.

You play as a night watchman, whose struggles with sleep have led them to a new night job looking after a dilapidated manor house left to ruin in the English countryside. At the same time, you’ve become preoccupied by the recent news of a series of mysterious deaths. People die in their sleep, seemingly by natural causessometimes even in rooms locked from the inside. All unsuspicious if it wasn’t for a symbol: a crudely drawn dagger scratched into the wall at each crime scene.

As you play, you alternate between the real world and your life as a night watchman, and a dream world where you play as a detective within a 1970’s TV show.
